Bev, in Victoria told me of your blog site. I thoroughly enjoyed and wish you the best of wishes that the positive
envelope arrives in the mail this week. I too shall cross my fingers for you.
I too am playing the waiting game having edited some children's stories for a friend and sending them off to
a publisher In Sept. with a response card. With no reply by Jan. I made contact the other day and they are
being reviewed this month.
I currently write on a Parenting Blog site, but have many stories I will send off when other projects are complete.
I do wonder sometimes why we have a 'push' for Canadian content in all aspects of the Arts and there are so
many good writers being turned down. Not enough publishers? There appear to be enough readers who are
continuing to use the paper format. enough rambling, Many good wishes, Gail

60?! Yikes! So far I've had 7, for this novel anyway. Probably more than 60 for all the short stories I've submitted. So I've another 53 or 54 to go? Better knuckle down!

Congratulations Sarah! I am betting on the number 3 option.
Did you read "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett? As per an article in the Victoria TC, her novel was rejected 60 times, sometimes very harshly! As in .... "Please don't send me your work anymore."
http://www.timescolonist.com/entertainment/movie-guide/Thanks+Help/6140852/story.html
Now the royalties are pouring in and the movies has won many awards.
Lovely packaging by the way! Keeping everything crossed! Love you! Mom

Yay, some new posts... and not about death... all the regular blogs (which is maybe 4 in total so I'm not a complete dork either) I normally read have been dealing with that for the past 2 weeks. Food and knitting... what could be better?!
